Phillip Louk Landscaping is a family owned landscaping business based in Hastings, Victoria, servicing the Mornington Peninsula and surrounding areas. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Phillip Louk Landscaping, ABN: 6274619820628

Who we share information with

  • While we are working on your property, we may take photos and videos of the work in progress and the finished result. We use these images to show our workmanship on our website, on social media and in other marketing material.


If you would prefer we did not take or use photos/videos of your project, just let us know. You can tell us at any point, before we start, while we are on site, or after the job is finished. If images of your project have already been published and you would like them removed, get in touch and we will take them down.


Overseas disclosure

Some of the providers we use, including Google and Meta, store and process data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. By using this website and submitting an enquiry, you consent to your information being handled in this way.


Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access and disclosure. However, no method of transmitting or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Any information you send us online is sent at your own risk.


How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above, and for as long as we are required to keep business and tax records. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where it is reasonable to do so.


Marketing

We only send marketing communications where you have asked to receive them. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop at any time by replying or contacting us directly. Responding to your enquiry and communicating with you about your job are not marketing.


Access, correction & complaints

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details at the bottom of this page and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. There may be circumstances where we are unable to delete information we are required to keep.

Any prices, ranges, inclusions or exclusions mentioned on this website are indicative only and may be subject to change without notice.


An estimate is prepared after a free on-site visit and is specific to that property and that scope of works. Estimates are based on the information available and the site conditions visible at the time of the visit. Where unforeseen conditions are encountered once works are underway, the scope and the cost may need to change. Any variation is discussed with you before the work is carried out.


An estimate is not a fixed price contract unless it is stated in writing that it is.


Timeframes and availability

Lead times move with the seasons and with demand. Any timeframes mentioned on this website are a general guide only and are not a commitment. Your dates are confirmed with you directly once your job is scheduled, however, may change due to changing weather conditions and site delays.


Photos and project examples

Photos on this website show works we have carried out. Materials, plants and finishes vary between suppliers and between jobs, and natural materials such as stone vary in colour, size, shape and texture from batch to batch. Photos are for illustration and are not a guarantee that your project will look the same.


Plants, turf and other living products

Plants, turf and other living products respond to weather, watering, soil, sun, shade, pests and ongoing care. We select and install with care, but we cannot guarantee that any living product will establish or thrive.


Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, watering and ongoing care after installation are the responsibility of the property owner.


Products and manufacturer warranties

Where a product carries a manufacturer's warranty, that warranty is provided by the manufacturer and is subject to the manufacturer's own terms and conditions. We pass on warranty information where a supplier provides it. We do not provide, extend or vary a manufacturer's warranty.


Other trades and suppliers

Where specialist trades are involved in your job, we arrange them and let you know up front. Where we refer you to another trade, supplier or professional, that referral is made in good faith and is not a recommendation you are obliged to follow. We are not responsible for the work, pricing, conduct or advice of any third party you engage directly.

The areas listed on this website are provided as a guide to where we work. Availability outside our home area on the Mornington Peninsula depends on the job and our schedule at the time. Please contact us to confirm whether we can help with your location.
