A Family Owned Landscaping Business on the Mornington Peninsula

Bespoke gardens from a business you can actually get hold of. Phil is across your project from the first phone call through to the final day on site.

The People Behind the Gardens

Phillip Louk Landscaping is a small, family owned business working across the Mornington Peninsula, with 15 years of hands-on landscaping experience behind every job. Phil is on the tools and Jess runs the office, so when you get in touch, you are talking to the people who own the business.

Phil has been landscaping since 2011 and started the business in 2020. He genuinely loves the trade, spending weekends during his apprenticeship reworking the family garden long before it was a career. That same care now goes into every client project, alongside the part of the job he values most: working directly with people and being part of the local community while he does it.

What Working With Us Looks Like

You deal directly with Phil

There is no account manager and no middle layer. Phil runs through your job with you, completes the site visit, estimates it and oversees the standard from start to finish. You always know who is accountable for the result.

Bespoke, and trade qualified

Every garden is customised to the space and to you. Phil is a trade qualified landscape gardener and a licensed excavator and skid steer operator, the business carries full public liability insurance, and estimates are free. Where a different approach will suit your space better, we will tell you and explain why.

Communication that does not go quiet

We stay in contact through the entire job, not just at the estimate and the invoice. Reliable, honest pricing and clear updates mean fewer surprises and a finished space that matches what you pictured.

Honest Advice, Before the Work Starts

More and more, we see clients arrive with AI generated concepts or pictures they have put together themselves. They look great on screen, but they often miss the practical realities: sun and shade, drainage, or garden beds that are simply too small for the plants chosen. An overcrowded bed with the wrong plants can struggle no matter how good the render looks.

This is where experience earns its keep. We will challenge ideas that may not hold up, explain the reasoning professionally, and work with you to land on something that suits the space. Clients regularly thank us for that honest steer. Phil is also happy to work alongside a designer or architect you have engaged.

Where We Work

Phil is based in Hastings and landscapes right across the Peninsula, from Mornington, Mount Martha and Mount Eliza through Somerville, Balnarring and Red Hill down to Rye, Rosebud and Sorrento. Larger projects regularly take us further:

Bass Coast and Western Port: Phillip Island, Cowes, San Remo, Corinella and Grantville

The South East: Cranbourne, Clyde, Pearcedale, Berwick and Narre Warren

Bayside: Brighton, Sandringham, Hampton and Mentone

If your suburb is not listed, just ask.
